Japanese 8x12 Rack Tom Drum Black Vintage 1970's

From the 1970's this is a Japanese made 8 (deep) x 12 rack tom! Uncertain of brand. This has been painted black over the original wrap. A large chunk of the wrap is missing so the exposed shell has also been painted black in some spots. Aside from that this shows signs of use with scratches, scuffs, and gouges in the paint.  Mounting bracket is not original. There's many extra holes in the shell around it. Bracket also sits a little crooked. The bearing edge on the batter side has a really gnarly gouge and split. It looks to be split almost all the way around. Hoops and hardware have pitting and rust. There's red spray paint on both hoops. Some of the lugs have black paint. Mounting bracket is 100% functioning. Muffler is missing. Heads have wear, but plenty of use left.
